Regardless of what is being built, Civil Engineers typically undertake site surveys and feasibility studies, analysing the risks of a project and coming up with designs to meet the challenges. We propose innovative solutions where we think they suit the scope and budget of the project, but always prioritise your requirements. This module shows how the soil mechanics theories introduced in Soil Mechanics are applied to the solution of a number of geotechnical analysis and design problems.
